Deanne Hollis-DeGrandpre founded Main Street Public Relations in 2007. She began her career in public relations (PR) with the high-technology PR agency, Darryl Lloyd, Inc. (DLI), where she implemented PR programs for companies as small as startups and as large as divisions of established industry players, such as Philips, Cadence, Cap Gemini, and Ricoh.

After DLI, she was department editor for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), working with technology innovators, helping them translate complex ideas into easier-to-understand training content.

In 2005, she joined LogicalApps, a developer of governance software, and established their in-house PR program. Prior to coming onboard, the company had no name recognition with editors and analysts covering competing vendors in their space. The goals of the company were to build their brand, generate venture capital, build their presence in the compliance/governance sector, and expand their exposure outside of the Oracle space.

She took LogicalApps from an unknown status to being recognized industry-wide. She increased exposure from having two to twenty top-tier analysts following the company, generated an increase of media coverage of more than 250 percent over the previous agency’s efforts, and gained the attention of venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital within 12 months.

From 2007 through 2010, Deanne was editor in chief for Computer Technology Review, where she increased readership by 490 percent within six months of taking over editorial management. Computer Technology Review covers data storage and related technologies such as virtualization, cloud computing, data security, compliance, and networking.

She is active in the community of Eastvale (near Corona and Norco in Southern California) providing pro bono work for the non-profit organization, Eastvale Incorporation Committee for more than three years. Recently, she co-founded the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as the non-profit’s vice president of communications.
